In 2010, for the second year in a row, the Nike Chalkbot traveled the roads of the Tour de France. This time with a few extra tools. An iPad app and embeddable map served as a way for fans to submit messages of hope and explore submissions from around the world—in English and French. The map was embedded across 17 different sites, including Facebook, Nike.com, and Livestrong.org. Each message submitted was visualized by a pin and every message that was printed on the road was viewable through a gallery of photos. There were also downloadables, videos, and an easy way to submit a message and share it across social networks.
